Ganapathy Pre-University College
It was a proud moment for the Saraswat Education Society (SES) when it added the Ganapathy Pre-University College to its existing Hampankatta (Mangaluru) Campus on 2nd July 1971.
With a focus on quality education for the Commerce and Arts streams, we quickly received patronage from students from Kasargod, Manjeshwar, Kanhangad, and Mangaluru.

Highlights of our Activities and Accolades
- The Ganapathy Pre-University College is situated in a lush-green 2.3 acre GHS campus on GHS Road, in which Ganapathy English Medium School is also located.
- An exclusive residential National Service Scheme (NSS) Camp is held for the students every year which helps them share experiences and broaden their horizons.
- The NSS unit of our college was declared the best in the State by the Government of Karnataka which has encouraged our students to attend the State and National Level Leadership Camps with greater enthusiasm.
- The College firmly believes that sports help to build character, and our students are encouraged to participate in individual and team sports at various events, both at Taluka and District levels, and have won many medals and accolades.
- The cadets from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) have represented the college in the prestigious Republic Day parade at New Delhi where they have been awarded the Prime Minister’s Award during the Republic Day Parade.
- Our NCC cadets were also invited to attend the prestigious Vayusena Camp in Bengaluru.
- Sports day, the Flag-hoisting ceremony on Karnataka Rajyotsava Day, and Independence Day are special for students when their talent is on display for parents to watch.
